A Look at Our Heritage
2015-05-16 to 2015-08-02
Whether they are made of wood, brick or even stone, the buildings in which we live and work change, evolve and are altered by the passage of time. The prestige of a building sometimes fades as years go by and things get lost as a result of certain refurbishments and transformations. The wealth of our habitat’s history, its built heritage, is a community’s memory over time: a house is associated to a person of distinction, a public building to a historical event and so on. Through his reconstruction work, René Pelletier gives a second life to a built heritage that was quietly being forgotten and leads us to consider the history of our habitat.
